Apple’s Upcoming iPhone 13 Might Come With Sensor-Shift Camera Stabilization: Report

Apple is planning to introduce sensor-shift image stabilization technology in all upcoming iPhone 13 models, a report from an unreliable source DigiTimes claimed.

We already have this same technology featured in the iPhone 12 Pro Max with no other iPhone 12 models offering the premium tech.

With that feature, the biggest iPhone 12 Pro model is capable of taking better night shots and can also improve the output when the subject is moving. According to claims from DigiTimes, this year we’ll be able to get the same capability in all the iPhone 13 releases.

It is important to mention here that the report from DigiTimes is just a newsflash of a bigger story. So, it is not yet clear as to what small intricacies will be involved. For instance, we can’t say for sure if the manufacturer is going to bring the feature to only the wide angle lens of iPhone 13 devices similar to the iPhone 12 Pro Max.

“Apple’s next-generation iPhones slated for launch in the second half of 2021 will all come with sensor-shift stabilization technology, according to industry sources.”

We have to wait for now until the full report is released. Nevertheless, bringing sensor-shift image stabilization in all the iPhone 13 models is something really big in itself.
