If you are a fan of PUBG Mobile and have one of the iOS devices from Apple, you must have noticed in recent past that many of your gaming acquaintances and friends are getting upgraded to 0.3.3 version through App Store. However, you might not have yet been able to upgrade because the update wasn’t available there. Just don’t worry, here we have everything for you to get the update.
Normally, any user with an iOS device set for automatic updates gets the app icon badge notification whenever some update to a game or an app is pushed through. This informs them of an update available to be installed. In fact, the update is downloaded automatically and applied to the device automatically after the notification is being received.
For some reason, as it appears, that’s not happening for many of the PUBG users which means they can’t just move on from earlier versions and have to forcefully keep playing them. Here is how PUBG Mobile team actually sees it:
We’ve noticed few iOS users haven’t got 0.3.3 update. In case, if you’re affected please browse to ‘Updates’ section in App Store, refresh by swiping down and go for a manual update.
As far as many iPhone/iPad owners who rather prefer to keep automatic updates off are concerned, manually updating games and apps is how they can apply all the updates. The PUBG team has also advised entering into App Switcher view before killing official App Store in background and then loading PUBG app again. The process above can then be repeated in case if the initial process doesn’t work.
Hopefully, by following this process, 0.3.3 version of PUBG Mobile game should show up right away and can then be downloaded.
If the 0.3.3 version of the game is installed through this particular process, you can then wait patiently until 0.4.0 comes through after Tencent deciding to release it for game’s English version. Until then, PUBG Mobile 0.3.3 must appease large number of gamers looking forward to the next PUBG Mobile fix.
