As it often happens, you are in need of your iPhone but its battery doesn’t seem to help you. You want something that can charge it up quickly so that you can start using it without any kind of interruption. Well, there are reports that suggest the issue is being attended to by Apple and the 2018 iPhone models are expected to come with fast charging-capable adapters & cables that will charge the device way more quickly.
A report on Weibo, the Chinese Social Network, suggests that 2018 iPhone lineup from Apple will come with latest USB-C power adapters which will be equipped with USB-C Lightning cable. The accessory will be capable of charging the iPhones in question way more quickly compared to what’s available currently.
With an 18W USB-C power adapter, the users will be able to take their dead devices to almost 50 percent battery power within only 30 minutes.
The smartphones from Apple have lacked Fast charging in comparison their competitors of late, especially the high-end Android devices which sell really well. The story seems quite similar to the wireless charging that also require Apple too long to offer.
At the moment, the proud owners of iPhone X, iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, or iPad Pro can enjoy fast charging features on offer. However, for that, they will separately need USB-C power adapter as well as USB-C to Lightning cable. The pairing will cost almost $75 and that’s something really crazy owing to the fact that buying other competing brands will bring the charging accessories along without incurring any additional costs.
And, if Apple decides to put these chargers in iPhone boxes, it’s certainly going to be a welcoming addition.
