A couple of days back, Apple has announced a cool refresh to its high end Macbook Pro line as it decided to give its 13” and 15” Macbook Pro models with Touch bar a whole lot of new and effective features.
There is nothing changed with Apple’s lower end machines that don’t feature a Touch Bar. And, if you had your eyes on Macbook Pro 2015, you’d be worried to know that it won’t be available for sale anymore.
Coming back to the latest hardware from Apple, the new Macbook Pro models will surely get a speed improvement with their all-new 8th-gen CPUs, and greater storages and memory. The new machines will feature True Tone displays along with a T2 chip that is expected to bring “Hey Siri” to your new macbook.
The popular butterfly keyboards have made their way to the version 3 making it quieter than before. However, there is still no confirmation on whether the new Macbooks will improve on poor longevity experienced by the users with current Macbook Pro or not.
Here are the major features of new hardware from Apple.
The 15” Macbook Pro with Touch Bar will feature:
- 6-core Intel Core i7 and Intel Core i9 processors with speeds ranging 2.9 GHz and a Turbo Boost ranging 4.8 GHz.
- A maximum of 32 GB DDR4 RAM
- A maximum of 4 TB SSD storage
- Radeon Pro GPU featuring 4 GB memory
- True Tone Display
The 13” Macbook Pro with Touch Bar will feature:
- Quad-core Intel Core i5 and Intel Core i7 processors with speeds ranging 2.7 GHz and a Turbo Boost ranging 4.5 GHz.
- A maximum of 2TB SSD storage
- Intel Iris Plus graphics featuring 128 MB eDRAM
- True Tone Display
The prices start at $2399 and $1799 respectively and the new machines can now be ordered through Apple’s official website while the stocks will arrive at stores all over the world by the weekend.
One big question here is whether the new keyboard will actually be better than the previous models and even though Apple claims it to be quieter, that’s probably not what most of the complains were about.
So, what are you waiting for now, hit the Apple’s website and order your new Macbook Pr now!
