Apple Updates New Page Against Jailbreak Before The Release Of Electra iOS 11.3.1 Jailbreak

All of us already know that Apple hasn’t been too receptive to the idea of jailbreaking devices running its iOS platform. That being said, it’s now continuously thwarting that practice with its every new release of the iOS platform.

This time around, they have taken things further by coming up with a new support page which outlines the issues users might face if they choose to jailbreak their iOS devices.

As the public release of iOS 11.3.1 jailbreak draws near, Apple has started taking every possible step to tackle this iOS hacking process by informing potential jailbreakers about all the possible downsides of the process. Even though we haven’t seen Apple talking specifically about jailbreaking before, but things have just change with the release of this support document of late.

“iOS has been designed as a secure and reliable platform right from when you first turn your device on. There are in-built security features that offer protection against viruses and malware helping you to have secure access to your corporate data and personal information.”

The document outlines quite a few potential downsides of jailbreaking iOS devices, including everything from decreased security to more battery consumption than ever. Apple also highlights general service disruptions and instability of the iOS and the device among potential issues.

Besides listing all these potential issues common with jailbreaking, Apple also points out one of most important detractors to jailbreaking; any jailbroken iOS devices are not entitled to be serviced by Apple in case something goes wrong.

“Apple strong warns its users against the installation of software aimed at hacking its iOS. It should also be noted that any unauthorized modifications made to iOS are a violation of its end-user software license agreement and that may lead Apple to deny service for any affected iPhone, iPad or iPod touch.”

Still, if you have already gone deep into the jailbreaking world, it may not be too likely for you to step out and stop hacking your devices in future. However, if you’re just starting out then this caution from Apple might be enough for ensuring that you think again before actually making a call.
