Great news for iPhone 6s users, Apple has suddenly started signing the old iOS 10.3.3 version. The reasons are not known yet but it is also not known when it will stop signing the iOS as well.
So, what this means is that, those who’re running iOS 11, iOS 11.0.1 or iOS 11.0.2 can simply roll back to iOS 10.3.3 if they’re not happy with the current experience on their iOS device. The only thing of concern here, however, is that you must be running the latest iOS on your iPhone 6s.
It wasn’t long ago when Apple internally decided that they’re going to stop digitally signing iOS 10.3.3 on any and all iOS devices that support iOS 11. And with us having access to iOS 11.0.2 publicly, it was very much expected that Apple will be closing down on iOS 10.3.3 sooner or later.
But for some unknown reasons, which we may not even get to know later as well unless we’re from Apple, the company has started to sign iOS 10.3.3 again but only for the iPhone 6s.
Re-opening of signing window would mean that those who have iPhone 6s running latest iOS from Apple can revert back to the iOS 10.3.3 if they want to. It hasn’t been confirmed yet that whether Apple has done that consciously in the bit to improve their service for owners of the said hardware or if it has happened accidentally or some bug has caused the window to be re-opened immediately. No matter what has caused it, there are surely many 6s owners who’d be rejoicing this great news.
To be honest, it doesn’t matter what reason is behind the re-opening of this window at the moment. Everyone who wants to revert back can do that right now and that’s all that matters. But remember, it is quite possible that the window may not remain open for too long and, therefore, you should act quickly. Take advantage of the opportunity before it’s gone.
