Apple has officially announced 2017 MacBook Pro and MacBook Air at the opening keynote event at WWDC last week. The devices are expected to receive a refresh as we got the impression from the announcements made at the event. Some might not have been expecting this refresh to MacBook Pro because the latest models were introduced not long ago in 2016. However, it still is a welcoming news for those who had been anticipating some changes to the Mac Hardware.
It is important to mention here that the MacBook Pro is not going to receive a complete hardware overhaul. The announcement made related to the MacBook Pro refresh doesn’t really translate into some radical exterior or design revamp rather it will be aimed at some major internal improvements that will help make these devices a lot better.
The upgrade the MacBook Pro and MacBook Air models are expected to receive will be in processors which will come with the new lot of these devices. The upcoming MacBook Pro models will come with the Kaby Lake series from Intel and that’s one real internal upgrade to these devices. In fact, this simple processor change might be enough for convincing many to buy the latest hardware.
According to the announcements made at the WWDC event, Apple will also be updating is 12” MacBook as well as MacBook Air as the former will be updated with Kaby Lake processor chip and the latter will have the Intel processor having higher clock speed this time.
All the upgraded models of MacBook have already been made available for purchase and the shipping has also started already. So, just choose which of them you like the most and place the order to enjoy the latest, updated MacBook experience.
