How To Switch To iOS 11 Final Public Version From GM/Beta

After a few months of testing iOS 11 beta versions, Apple has finally released iOS 11 to the masses. So, anyone with a compatible iOS 11 device will be able to download the new iOS and install it to enjoy new iPhone experience to the fullest. That’s really a great news, however, if you’ve been part of developer beta testing or have tried one of the public beta versions of the new iOS, you might already be in possession of iOS 11 GM version and using it already on your device.

In that case, you’re already on the version that everybody is trying to download now – i.e. build 15A372 –but the question is how can you move forward? You’d want to get off the beta versions and switch to general release which everyone else in world is going to have.

How To Switch To iOS 11 Final Public Version From GMBeta

Well, it’s quite a simple process that you need to follow for switching from the iOS 11 beta versions. However, one thing should be kept in mind here that you’ll be required to wait for every new iOS version to run through the beta course before being able to get them to try. The positive side to this is that you’ll, obviously, get the iOS versions with almost no bugs as they’ll be fixed prior to the version getting available to you. But you will also get to try the new features of every release from Apple after some time.

So, leave that debate for later and the question is how you can enjoy all the new iOS 11 features by switching to the final version of the software released by Apple. So, here is how you can get rid of beta versions.

    1. Open Settings app on your device
    2. Select General
    3. Select Profiles & Device Management
    4. Select iOS Beta Software Profile
    5. Finally, tap the Remove Profile button.

You might be required to restart your device so that the changes can take effect. And, once you do that, you’re done with the iOS 11 betas and can enjoy using final version without any problems whatsoever.
