Some new images of the perceived AirPods 3 have been leaked online, and the leaked renders showcase the design of the new earbuds along with their redesigned charging case.
As it appears, the leaked renders were obtained from a supplier and Gizmochina picked them up. Apparently, they are pretty similar to the leaks that many of us have seen already, where the overall design looks quite similar to the AirPods Pro. The next generation AirPods are shown to have a charging case just like AirPods Pro. Besides, their stems, where the battery is housed, have been made shorter compared to the older models.
Even though they have a design similar to that of AirPods Pro, it is expected that the upcoming AirPods will be an affordable alternative to the older models and they won’t come equipped with features like ‘Active Noise Cancellation’. It is expected that the price for these upcoming AirPods will be around $150, although an official announcement is yet to be made on AirPods 3 price.
It’s not yet certain when Apple will announce the new AirPods, but with all the leaks coming in of late, it’s not too far away for sure. It is believed that Apple’s next event will be on March 23, and that suggests we might see the debut of the upcoming AirPods by the end of this month.
Apple is scheduled to introduce AirTags at this very event, and the new iPad family members are also expected to arrive at this next Apple event.
