The “Let Loose” Event of Apple Was Recorded On iPhone And Edited On Mac… And iPad

The special “Let Loose” event of Apple was held on Tuesday at which the latest M2 iPad Air and M4 iPad Pro were introduced. While concluding the event, Apple interestingly affirmed that it was completely recorded on iPhone (possibly on iPhone 15 Pro).

Apple's Let loose event was shot on iPhone and edited on Mac and iPad

However, the highly interesting aspect is that the company too says this was ‘edited on Mac… and iPad’.

Apple Event was recorded on iPhone, but this time with a surprise

This is the Apple’s second event that was filmed completely on the iPhone. The first trial was done by the company at the October event in the previous year, that was shot on the iPhone 15 Pro for the promotion of the new filming efficiencies including the 5x lens and ProRes Log.

As expected, Macs were used by the company for editing the event. A segment of the event also edited using iPad this time. There is no denying that a version of Final Cut by Apple is available for the iPadOS. The Final Cut Pro 2 was announced by the company during its today’s event. This consists of a redesigned interface along with latest features including a new app to use iPhone like a live camera and multi-cam editing.

During the event, Apple said that the creators can edit their projects entirely right from the iPad by using Final Cut Pro for the iPadOS. But, this is moderately ironic because Apple used ‘Mac… and iPad’ for accomplishing such a complicated edition.

It might take a couple more years before we witness an Apple event to be shot on the iPhone and whose editing is done using iPad.
