Even though there’s welcoming news coming from Apple as it has announced the release of new iOS 11 but that is something worrisome for many as well. The reason? Well, your favorite 32-bit apps won’t work on the latest iOS 11.
What this means is that you may not be able to use the apps that still are 32-bit. Despite the fact that developers keep up with the newest specs from Apple, there may be a few apps still left to 32-bit. So, if you want to know if your favorite apps are going to be affected from this new release or not, it is possible to check quickly if you are using any 32-bit apps on your iPhone/iPad.

How To Check Applications That Are Still On 32-bit
Here are the simple steps that you can follow to check your iOS apps. But remember that they will work only on iOS 10.3.
- Go to Settings
- Tap on General
- Tap on About
- Tap on Applications
In the list that shows up you will be able to see all your 32-bit apps. You may need to find alternatives or upgrade your apps to supported versions.
Here it is worth mentioning that if the list doesn’t appear then you don’t have any 32-bit apps on your iPhone/iPad.
What Options Do You Have With 32-bit Apps?
To be unfortunate, nothing much can be done about it. Actually, it’s the developers who must maintain their apps and keep them updated and you can’t do anything directly for fixing the problem.
All you can do is to check the description of certain apps on App Store to find out when the app was updated last time. If there is no update for too long then it’s not likely to come anymore and the developers may have stopped working on the app. Check if they plan to release any updates or simply find an updated alternative that you can run on the new iOS 11 when it is unleashed.
