Use Third-Party DNS Services
In case, all you want to achieve is to unblock specific content that has location restrictions in place, like accessing Netflix’s US version from UK, you’d be better off using third-party DNS services. There are quite a few services that allow you to sign up for a DNS server on Apple TV and point it to given IP address. A couple of popular choices here include UnoTelly and Unblock-US. Remember that it’s the option you can use for unblocking geo-restricted services instead of protecting your identity.
